嘉賓簡介：Bennardo教授是當前美國最著名的認知人類學家之一，也是人類學在更為廣泛的認知科學中的代言人之一，專長領域為語言和認知人類學。他的研究将語言學、人類學和心理學綜合在一起，探讨了人類認知的文化結構，以及語言，文化和認知之間微妙複雜的聯系。Bennardo教授曾主持過四項由美國國家科學基金會資助的多學科認知科學研究項目, 曾入圍Fulbright National Committee 的國際研究和教學. Bennardo教授曾在密蘇裡大學，加州大學洛杉矶分校，哥倫比亞大學等任教，常年講授語言人類學，認知人類學和認知科學, 多次被北伊利諾大學授予突出貢獻教授稱号.

内容簡介：Cultural Models (CMs) are posited as shared organizations of knowledge that assumes the participation of culture to mental life. In the research about CMs there has been a divide between scholars using linguistic data and analyses vs. others who preferred experimental tasks and quantitative analyses. I am briefly describing both approaches and then proposing a methodological trajectory that blends them in order to maximize the validity of the discovered CMs.
